  1. Strong Stance Against Hate: Advocating for Accountability & Transparency
Recent incidents in District 225 have raised concerns regarding antisemitism, discrimination and overall safety in schools.  There has been a lack of transparency and accountability in how these issues are addressed.  As a School Board candidate, my leadership will prioritize a clear, actionable stance against hate to ensure all students feel safe, supported, and included.

Key Policy Commitments:
✅ Zero Tolerance for Hate & Discrimination – Advocate for stronger enforcement of anti-hate policies and clear consequences for offenders.
✅ Transparency in Incident Reporting – Will push for timely, community-wide communication when incidents occur, ensuring parents and students are informed.
✅ Bias Training & Educational Programs – Promote district-wide education on hate (including antisemitism and racism) to create a culture of awareness and respect.
✅ Community Engagement – Will work with parents, student groups, and local leaders to ensure all voices are heard and policies reflect the concerns of the broader Glenbrook community.
My commitment to stand against hate and ensure accountability is a defining aspect of my leadership.  I will ensure accountability and transparency in how the district executes its strategic initiatives.

  1. Fiscal Responsibility & Smart Budgeting*
The district must balance financial responsibility with academic excellence.  My engineering and manufacturing leadership background, technical expertise and certified project management skills makes me uniquely qualified to oversee budgeting and resource allocation to maximize taxpayer financial efficiency and effectiveness and minimize financial waste.

Priorities:
✅ Ensure fiscal transparency and smart spending for long-term sustainability.
✅ Identify budget inefficiencies to redirect funds into student success programs.
✅ Oppose unnecessary tax hikes by ensuring existing resources are used effectively.
✅ Examine big dollar facilities projects and seek less expensive alternatives.

  1. Expanding Multilingual & Student Support Services
With an increasingly diverse student population, expanding multilingual services, mental health programs, and academic support ensures equitable access to education for all students.

Priorities:
✅ Enhance ESL & multilingual programs to support diverse learners.
✅ Expand counseling & mental health services to address student well-being.
✅ Strengthen special education support with increased transparency in IEP planning.

  1. Student & School Safety: Clear Policies & Parental Involvement
The district must be proactive in ensuring student safety, including physical security, digital safety, and mental healthParents deserve transparency in how incidents are handled.

Action Plan:
✅ Implement clear safety protocols with regular public updates.
✅ Enhance bullying & harassment reporting systems to increase accountability.
✅ Ensure parents & students are included in safety discussions & policy development.

  1. Community Engagement & Restoring Trust
The current administration’s lack of transparency has weakened trust between the district and families.  My leadership will focus on rebuilding relationships through:

✅ Open forums & town halls to engage with parents, teachers and students.
✅ Clear communication policies so parents are not left in the dark.
✅ Stronger community partnerships to ensure District is responsive to public concerns.
