Campaign Themes: (Click here for more details about my platform)

1. Strong Stance Against Hate: Advocating for Accountability & Transparency:
Recent incidents in District 225 have raised concerns regarding antisemitism, discrimination and overall safety in schools.  There has been a lack of transparency and accountability in how these issues are addressed.  As a School Board candidate, my leadership will prioritize a clear, actionable stance against hate to ensure all students feel safe, supported, and included.

2. Fiscal Responsibility & Smart Budgeting:
The district must balance financial responsibility with academic excellence.  My engineering and manufacturing leadership background, technical expertise and certified project management skills makes me uniquely qualified to oversee budgeting and resource allocation to maximize taxpayer financial efficiency and effectiveness and minimize financial waste.

3. Expanding Multilingual & Student Support Services:
With an increasingly diverse student population, expanding multilingual services, mental health programs, and academic support ensures equitable access to education for all students.

4. Student & School Safety: Clear Policies & Parental Involvement:
The district must be proactive in ensuring student safety, including physical security, digital safety, and mental health.  Parents deserve transparency in how incidents are handled.

“Paul will make an excellent board member.  He grew up in a household dedicated to education and is second generation to stand against hate.  He is also a brilliant engineer with technical expertise and project management leadership to control costs and implement positive educational policies.”

Louis Fliegelman – Former Principal, Telshe High School, Chicago, Illinois.
“I had the privilege of having Paul as a science teacher at Telshe High School, where he consistently demonstrated excellence in the classroom.  His passion for education was evident in his ability to engage students through innovative teaching methods that made learning both accessible and exciting.  Paul’s dedication to his students went beyond academics — he genuinely cared about their growth and success, fostering a supportive and inspiring learning environment.  In addition to being an outstanding educator, Paul is a highly accomplished engineer, project manager, and corporate leader.  His unique combination of technical expertise and leadership skills allows him to bring real-world insights into the classroom, enriching students’ learning experiences.  Paul’s ability to connect with and motivate students, coupled with his broad professional background, makes him a truly exceptional educator and mentor.”

James Kohut – Engineering Director at FCA
“Paul was my chief engineer onsite at Belvidere Assembly.  He was an exemplary leader and had the integrity I needed as he operated without supervision.  Paul was always ready to help whether the issue was ‘his job’ or not.  He was an astute engineer and was recognized with quality awards on three occasions for solving difficult problems.  His ability to collaborate with others and manage large projects was superb, using his technical expertise to save millions of dollars.  He will make an outstanding member of the school board.”

Daniel Fox – Rabbi, Darchei Noam Glenbrook; Teacher, ICJA
“Paul is hard working, intelligent, capable, and sincere.  He truly wants the best for everyone, and I know he will do a great job.”
